For safety reasons, students in Kindergarten - 5th grade should not arrive at school before 8:50 a.m. We have staff on duty from 8:50-9:05 to supervise students as they arrive. When they arrive prior to 8:50, there are no adults there to supervise, which is a safety concern. When students arrive on campus, they are expected to go immediately to the door where their class lines up and wait for the bell to ring. (see 5B's matrix for specific expectations)

If your child needs to miss a day due to illness, please be sure to contact the office and provide doctors notes.
During Genius hour in Mrs. Cruger’s morning kindergarten class, students inquired into the question “What is it like to be a doctor?”. Thanks to an informative visit and presentation from Dr. Jennifer Blattner, students learned about different types of doctors, the tools doctors use, and how doctors help people. Students then shared what they learned through writing and drawing.
