Principal’s Update 9.17.15

It has been a GREAT week at Blue Mountain!  The first 2 days of our 100 Mile Club were very well attended, with nearly 100 students running each morning.  The two-day total was 350 miles! Just awesome!  Thanks to Ms. Pollock for organizing the 100 Mile Club again this year, and to our parent volunteers who help count laps each morning!

Thank you to Michelle Livingston for all her work organizing the Blue Mountain Spirit Nights!  These events are such a great time for Blue Mountain families to come together and meet new friends!  The next event is on September 28 at the Longs Peak Pub on the corner of Longs Peak and Main Street!

We are looking for volunteers for the Turkey Trot, which is Friday, November 6!  This event is our main fundraiser for the school, and in order for it to be successful we need many, many hands, both before the event and the day of the event!  Please consider supporting your school by volunteering to help.  Please contact our PTO President Olivia DeJana with questions or to volunteer!  [email protected]

Next week you will be getting an email from your child’s teacher with directions on how to sign up for our upcoming Parent -Teacher Conferences.  The dates are October 6, 8, 14.  Please be sure to sign up for a time slot to meet with your child’s teacher to learn about the goals we have set for your child and to have the opportunity to ask any questions you have about your child’s educational experience at Blue Mountain!
