What time should you arrive at school?

For safety reasons, students in Kindergarten – 5th grade should not arrive at school before 8:50 a.m.  We have staff on duty from 8:50-9:05 to supervise students as they arrive.  When they arrive prior to 8:50, there are no adults there to supervise, which is a safety concern.  When students arrive on campus, they are expected to go immediately to the door where their class lines up and wait for the bell to ring.  (see 5B’s matrix for specific expectations)

If your child is coming for 100 Mile Club, they may arrive beginning at 8:20 a.m., and should immediately check in with the adult monitoring the Club that day. (east playground) Please do not just drop off your child without being sure they have checked in!

If you need to have your child arrive prior to 8:50 a.m., please utilize our on-site Child Care, Camp Lynx.  Enrollment information can be found on our website under the “Community Schools” tab!

Thank you for your attention to this safety concern!
