Mrs. Gavach is so excited to be a 2nd grade teacher here at Blue Mountain Elementary!  She loves the warm community and the eager interest in education among families. She has a strong passion for teaching and helping children grow and believes in the importance of educating the whole child and acknowledging each child’s unique qualities. Her educational background includes a degree in Teacher Education from UCLA and a specialization in Literacy from CU Boulder.

In Mrs. Gavach's classroom, she strives to create a positive and encouraging environment that fosters a love of reading and lifelong learning. Building a strong, supportive community where every student feels valued is a central focus of her teaching philosophy. When she's not in the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, biking, reading, and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Colorado.
