Amanda Maggio has taught at Blue Mountain Elementary School the last two years in 5th grade. This year she will be teaching 4th grade and is very excited about it. A proud graduate of St. Vrain Valley Schools, she is passionate about serving the community where she grew up. Ms. Maggio earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Colorado and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Educational Technology at UNC.

Ms. Maggio’s teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered to take ownership of their learning. She believes in fostering curiosity, encouraging collaboration, and integrating technology and hands-on experiences to help students make meaningful connections to the world around them. Her goal is to inspire lifelong learners who are confident, compassionate, and resilient.

Outside the classroom, Ms. Maggio enjoys outdoor activities such as paddleboarding, hiking, outdoor yoga, and more. She also enjoys anything arts and crafts related and her newest leisurely pursuit--golf!
