I am so excited to be in 2nd grade here at Blue Mountain Elementary! I love the warm community and the eager interest in education among families. I have a strong passion for teaching and helping children grow. I believe in the importance of educating the whole child and acknowledging each child’s unique qualities. My educational background includes a degree in Teacher Education from UCLA and a specialization in Literacy from CU Boulder.

In my classroom, I strive to create a positive and encouraging environment that fosters a love of reading and lifelong learning. Building a strong, supportive community where every student feels valued is a central focus of my teaching philosophy. When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, biking, reading, and exploring the beautiful outdoors of Colorado.
