Carri Starks grew up back east, living in Connecticut and upstate New York. She moved to Colorado to attend UNC in 1997 and graduated with a Masters in Special Education: K-12, High Needs Cognitive. Mrs. Starks has been teaching for over 25 years and has taught K-8th grade in both SSN and resource classrooms. She has been in various schools/districts before settling at Blue Mountain. Mrs. Starks has been at Blue Mountain from its first day and it is home to her. She has a strong passion for teaching and loves serving her students and their families. She lives in Loveland with her husband, Erin, and 2 children. When not at school, she loves running, paddle boarding, and spending time with her family.
