Mrs. Hammond is so excited to be part of the Blue Mountain Elementary family! She went to college in Tennessee and has been teaching for 17 wonderful years—16 of them right here in our district. This is her second year in 3rd grade, and she can honestly say it’s exactly where she's meant to be!

Mrs. Hammond lives in Firestone with her amazing husband, their two awesome kids, and their two sweet (and sometimes silly!) dogs. When she's not in the classroom, you can usually find her with a cup of coffee in hand, out for a run, working out, hiking, camping, playing soccer, or singing along at a country concert.

She feels so lucky and blessed to be part of this amazing community, and she can’t wait for all the adventures and learning this year will bring!
