- I am a Colorado native, having grown up in Boulder County. My passion for teaching developed while attending Metropolitan State University in Denver, where I received my B.A. in History and Elementary Education. I continued my studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I earned my M.A. in Instruction and Curriculum. When I’m not teaching I enjoy spending time at home with my wife and two daughters. I enjoy being outside on a hiking trail, riding my bicycle, or paddling around a lake in my kayak. I’m also a huge sports fan. I enjoy cheering for the Rockies, Broncos, CU Buffs, Avalanche, Nuggets, Rapids, and Everton F.C.
