Mrs. Dodds was born and raised in Boulder, and teaching runs in her blood, as both of her parents were teachers in Boulder for 30 years. This will be her 24th year teaching, and her third year teaching 5th grade. She is so excited for the upcoming year! She previously taught 3rd and 4th grades. Mrs. Dodds graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Psychology, and earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She helped open Blue Mountain Elementary, and cannot imagine working anywhere else. She loves the community here, and Blue Mountain feels like home to her! In her spare time, she likes to travel, cook, bike ride, and garden. Mrs. Dodds likes to spend as much time as possible at their family cabin with her husband and dogs.
