Bio: My name is Laura Mason, and I am proud to be a staff member at Blue Mountain Elementary. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science and my teaching credentials from Metro State University of Denver. I hold a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Adams State University. I am certified to teach Kindergarten through sixth grade. This will be my 20^th year of teaching. Personally, I have been married for 36 wonderful years and have four fantastic children. I am a proud grandma to my precious granddaughter. I enjoy gardening, playing tennis, and taking my two border collies for walks. I have a true passion for working with our youngest learners!! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development—academic, social, language, and motor—is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun, and caring environment. I look forward to working together with you as partners in your child’s growth and development!!
