Bio

Matthew Davis grew up in Pratt, Kansas and spent all of his summers, along with a couple of adventurous winters in Pitkin, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in Communications and a minor in History. He has been working in schools with children on the autism spectrum since 2019. After layovers living in North Carolina and Florida, Matthew is thrilled to be back home in the Rocky Mountains. Outside of school, he never wants to stop traveling or adventuring, and loves spending time with his amazing girlfriend and his two awesome kids, a 13-year-old son and a 15-year-old daughter who both attend school in the St. Vrain Valley School District. Matthew is deeply passionate about supporting students on the autism spectrum. In The Lynx Range Room at BMES, his goal each day is to create a fun, welcoming, and encouraging learning environment. It is his hope, intention, and honor to provide that extra bit of help to every student who needs it.
