Mattea is the school psychologist who is passionate about supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional well-being. Mattea grew up in Loveland, Colorado. She earned her bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Sociology at the University of Northern Colorado. She then achieved her Education Specialist degree in School Psychology at the University of Denver. This is her third year in the St. Vrain Valley School District.

She loves working with students and families to build strong, positive relationships. Mattea’s goal is to create a safe, inclusive environment where students feel heard, valued, and empowered. She looks forward to partnering with students, parents, and teachers to support students.
