My name is Sarah Harris and I love being part of the Blue Mountain community. This is my twelfth year teaching and I am grateful to have been at Blue Mountain for each of those years. My education includes a BA in Elementary Education focused on Environmental Science from the University of Northern Colorado, and a MA in Learning Design and Technology from the University of Colorado Denver.I work hard to foster a safe learning environment that empowers the whole child by making learning personal, meaningful, and relevant. Outside of teaching, I find balance withmy family, and friends, enjoying music, cooking, and spending time outside walking, running, hiking, paddle boarding, camping, snowboarding, and snowshoeing.
