- I grew up in Longmont and I am so grateful to be teaching in this community since 2009. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and I also have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in mathematics from the University of Colorado. I have taught all grades from kindergarten through 5th grade and now love being a Literacy Teacher for our building. I am currently working on becoming a Certified Academic Language Therapist and have a passion for supporting students to become skilled readers. My husband Justin and I have two amazing daughters who keep us busy and when I am not teaching I enjoy running, hiking, yoga, reading, cooking and camping. I love being a part of Blue Mountain!
