Kelly Dodds

I was born and raised in Boulder, and teaching runs in my blood, as both of my parents were teachers in Boulder for 30 years. I have been teaching for 17 years, with 15 of those years in 3rd grade and 2 years in 4th grade. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Psychology, and I earned a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. I helped open Blue Mountain Elementary 10 years ago, and I can't imagine working anywhere else. I love the community here, and I love the focus of science, technology, and inquiry. Blue Mountain feels like home to me! In my spare time, I like to travel, cook, bike ride, and work in my yard. My husband, Jason, and my dog, Ruby, and I also like to spend as much time as possible at our family cabin in Gold Hill, Colorado.
