Bio
When Kristie Venrick called to ask me to join the Blue Mountain staff in its very first year, I was enthusiastic about joining this dynamic team in its great adventure! Watching the school stretch and grow has been exciting and fulfilling to me as an educator. It is a joy to be part of our learning community; and to work with students, other staff, and families in a shared vision. My credentials are a B.A. from CU, and a Masters degree from UNC. I have taught in the St. Vrain School District for the last fourteen years, just after my husband Gary and I moved to Longmont. We have 4 adult children, and six beguiling grandsons. When I am not busy with teaching, I like to quilt, knit, camp, cook, read, and have good times with friends and family.
